2008 RACING HIGHLIGHTS & RESULTS.

CMDRA:

Our season is already over. Unfortunately we fell just short of both Championships, only 3 points back in the Power Up Lubricants Pro Street class, and 4 points back in the Mission Springs Brewing Co. Street class. However we still had a great season, and finished on a high note at the finals at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton Ab. In the Street class we had over 30 entries, and Ethan took the win on the new 2008 Hayabusa. On the turbocharged GSX-R1000 Ethan became the first and only CMDRA rider run a 7 second pass on a streetbike. Ethan shattered the previous record by putting up a 7.84 @ 183 on the scoreboards in the semi-finals. Never to leave things be, Ethan headed back to Castrol Raceway the following week in an attemp to set the Canadian Pro Street record. five passes later he did just that, posting an impressive 7.744 @ 188.99 on September 20th 2008!
